Founded in 1975, the Streeterville Organization of Active Residents (SOAR) is a non-profit, non-political volunteer organization with 501(c) non-profit status dedicated to "Working to Keep Streeterville a Neighborhood" in the Chicago community bounded by Lake Shore Drive on the east and north, Rush Street on the west, and the Chicago River on the south.
