Policy Positions
The mission of SOAR is to work on behalf of the residents of Streeterville by preserving and enhancing the quality of life in our community. This means that members of SOAR and its leadership must take stands on issues of importance to the community and voice those positions to government leaders and other influentials. To that end, SOAR has staked out positions on a number of issues of relevance to the future of Streeterville and has been actively promoting them through its continuing contact with city and community leaders. SOAR maintains an active relationship with the 42nd Ward Alderman, Burton Natarus, as well as the Mayor's office and other agencies of local and state government. Outlined below are the issues and concerns that have been on the forefront of the community's agenda in recent months.
