Fundraiser benefits SOAR a 34-year-old community advocacy organization
SOAR will host its BLUEPRINTs 2009 Fundraiser on
Monday, August 10th, at the Museum of Contemporary Art. This special event
features unique architectural artifacts offered in live and silent auction
formats.
This year's theme is Green buildings and the
environment; Blueprints 2009 will honor Adrian Smith, architect for some of the world's tallest buildings, including the Trump Tower, NBC Tower, and Olympia Center in Chicago, and the Burj Dubai in Dubai.
The silent auction will feature gift certificates to Streeterville restaurants along with architectural renderings and sports memorabilia. A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of an award to Adrian Smith honoring architectural excellence.
