SOAR Committees, Task Forces, Coalitions, Liaisons, Councils and Clubs
The SOAR Board is organized into four standing committees chaired by Board members. The standing committees create new task forces as needed and terminate those which have fulfilled their purpose. The listing below includes these committees and task forces.

The Board Affairs Committee establishes the structure of SOAR in accordance with applicable laws and the SOAR by-laws, including nomination of board members, member voting rights, meeting schedules, standing committees and board development.
The Community Affairs Committee oversees the SOAR task forces that are working on specific community-related projects in accordance with the priorities of SOAR.
This committee establishes the policies and procedures for SOAR membership, develops and oversees fundraising events, disseminates information about SOAR activities to members, donors and volunteers.
The Finance Committee develops and oversees the SOAR annual budget, identifies annual strategic priorities, and approves annual operating priorities.
